Thought for the day
July 27th, 2009 It was a beautiful morning to get out and take some nature pictures.
When suddenly it sounded like World War III had started. I point the camera up and this plane flew right over the tops of the trees.

Then in less than a minute it was back again, and I realized it was a crop duster.
I found out it was a lady crop duster. She saw me taking pictures and started doing stunts. At the same time she saw Lowell out side in his yard, and waved with the wings.

Laundry day for Rose. Lowell's quilt his mother made. Looks like a good subject for a new "Lowell Davis" painting.

Nettie's 1st visit to RedOakII/Foxfire farm
The gourds are growing fast Lowell & Rose's house.
Nettie arrived Sat. morning, and as soon as she took a bathroom break we started helping Wren and Aunt Ebby, can tomatoes. We finished about 3:30 and then got ready for the music jam session at Salem Baptist church in RedOakII. 3 new people showed up, and the music was great as always. Went home got comfy and fixed peach daiquiris for the patio. Wren & Jason joined us, and we had several good laughs. I was so proud of myself, because I had 5 glasses, but Nettie and Wren were quick to tell me the glass I was using only equaled about one shot of mix. They were pretty crystal stemmed glasses (presentation is everything) Then Nettie got inspired, and wanted to make Mango butter. So that is how we spent Sunday. We made a jar to take to Wren, and wanted a clever name to remind her of Cancun. Nettie will have to tell the rest of the story. Not the same on paper. Nettie had an admirer hit on her at the music jam. See video below and take special note of the banjo player. He really liked Nettie. I think Nettie will be planning a girls trip back with CJ very soon!
